Biography

Trained in High risk Pregnancies management Antenatal, Intrapartum and Post partum care at Kings College hospital and UCLH. I did my training from 2009-2013 as Maternal Medicine Clinical research fellow between Kings and UCLH, and had the privilege of learning from the best people in the field of maternal medicine.
My present job responsibilities include clinical and senior management role as lead Consultant for Labour ward and Postnatal care. Looking in to ways to improve women experience during after birth. I am a lead clinician for Maternal age clinic at Kings which cater to complex older age group pregnancies. I also do specialist maternal medicine joint clinics, Obstetric Rheumatology, Inflammatory bowel disease and neurology.
I am lead clinician for Maternity Critical care, with vision to establish safer childbirth for highrisk pregnancies. I have an active interest in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and I have been a course director for MRCOG part 1 course as well as delivered a well attended Obs and Gynae Course in Dubai (2014).
I am passionate about safer childbirth; I am trained faculty member for Royal College of Obs and Gynae Operative birth simulation. I also deliver life saving skills courses for mothers and babies in under resourced African and Asian countries as a faculty member of Liverpool school of Tropical medicine.
